No. The price your home sells for will be determined by a buyer who compares your home to all the others in your price range. Your home will sell for whatever the market will bear. Insist on a written, well-researched market analysis, and set your price accordingly. It’s not an easy process, but it’s not mysterious either. First select your Realtor® on his/her credentials. Then decide on the price you set. NEVER SELECT AN AGENT ON PRICE. A Real Estate Professional is best suited to determine a pricing strategy for your property. You don’t want to miss opportunities by overpricing or undervaluing your property. Knowledge about the surrounding areas, pricing trends, local information, and experience will ensure you are getting the best price for your home. DO NOT blindly chose the Realtor® who gives you the highest list price.
